ANNLEE HEAD
WHO I AM
A small artist working from her dorm room.
My name is Annlee Head, and I am a young artist from Clarksville, Tennessee. I entered into the artistic community through my participation in the Clarksville Art Walk, which was a gateway to participate in many art shows and galleries around town. Now relocated in Murfreesboro, I continue working on my art part-time: the creation never ends.
WHERE I STARTED
I began focusing on art in 2020, inspired by a new band I had started to listen to and encouraged by the large artist community centered around them.
Most of my older art is focused on the music that I enjoy, focused primarily on capturing the musician and the energy from the songs. Outside inspiration comes from live events, videos, and fan interactions.

My newer pieces have focused on music affecting myself as a whole, ranging from surrealistic self portraits to expressionist-realism focused on emotional responses to music.
"Anything can be art. Anything can be self-expression. Now you take the weapon and run with it."
